Our Team

Astha Burande (she/her)

Co-Founder & President

Astha is a medical student at the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biological Sciences. With over 7 years of teaching experience that spans diverse learners, from kindergarteners to adults, she is not just a medical enthusiast but a seasoned educator. Beyond the realms of academia, Astha is a passionate advocate for digital media literacy, envisioning a world where technology empowers individuals. When not immersed in medical studies or the classroom, she finds balance in the gym and on the tennis court, embodying a commitment to both physical and intellectual well-being.

Aksha Burande (she/her)

Co-Founder & Vice President

Aksha, a student at Webber Academy, has distinguished herself with four published works and a gold medal in a provincial speech competition. Beyond her academic achievements, she is an active leader in school clubs, notably the speech club, where she inspires her peers with her passion for effective communication. Her commitment extends to various youth committees, where she actively contributes to community initiatives. In a world where technology is an integral part of daily life, Aksha’s commitment to promoting literacy in technology is a testament to her vision of a digitally empowered community. Alongside her academic pursuits, Aksha finds joy in spending time with her pet bunny.
